Integration of tumor-informed circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) allows for appropriate shared decision making between patient and their treating physicians. Tumor-informed ctDNA may prognosticate the efficacy of adjuvant therapy, and in certain cases, be used as an adjunct in organ preservation decision making. Early detection of molecular residual disease provides opportunities for early intervention and improved survival.
