This talk will explore the evolving role of surgery in colorectal cancer with peritoneal metastasis, emphasizing patient selection, timing of cytoreduction, and integration of systemic therapy. Current evidence and practical considerations, including the controversial benefit of adding HIPEC to cytoreductive surgery, will be discussed to guide surgical decision-making in daily practice.
