Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Evaluate emerging technologies such as simulation, virtual reality, and robotics, and their applications in enhancing technical proficiency in colon and rectal surgery.
  • Demonstrate how to effectively integrate simulation-based training into the development of technical and non-technical skills for complex surgical procedures, including laparoscopic and robotic colorectal resections.
