This educational symposium provides a comprehensive overview of the evaluation and management of ODS and rectal prolapse. Participants will learn to distinguish between various anorectal diagnostic tests and apply them appropriately in cases of obstructed defecation, fecal incontinence, and rectal prolapse.
The symposium will also cover and summarize current surgical treatment options for both internal and external rectal prolapse. In addition, participants will develop clinical decision-making skills for managing multicompartment pelvic organ prolapse. Key takeaways from the internal rectal prolapse consensus meeting of Pelvic Floor Disorders Consortium will also be reviewed to align current practice with expert recommendations.Learning Objectives:
