A Physical examination revealed a 4×2 cm indurated and tender mass in the sacrococcygeal region, featuring two midline pits and a superficially ulcerated opening at its superior aspect.
A Wound management followed a staged protocol: Jiuyi Dan was first applied for debridement, followed by Shengji San to promote granulation. The wound condition at 1 week postoperatively, following this protocol, is depicted.
