Christy Cauley, MD, MPH, is a surgeon-scientist, Medical Director of Quality, Colon & Rectal Surgery at MassGeneral Brigham, and an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Purdue University, Medical Degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and her Master’s in Public Health degree from Harvard University. She completed general surgery residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and a colorectal surgery fellowship at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Her research focuses on the development, testing, and implementation of health systems interventions to improve surgical care for patients across the aging spectrum and their families.
