Garrett Johnson, MD, MSc, FRCSC (he/him/his)

Colorectal Surgery Fellow

Garrett Johnson is a colorectal surgery fellow at the University of Toronto and a graduate of the University of Manitoba’s General Surgery residency and Clinician Investigator Program. He has authored more than 35 peer-reviewed publications focused on colorectal cancer care, endoscopy quality improvement, and surgical education. His work has received multiple national awards and has been presented at ASCRS, DDW, ACS Clinical Congress, SAGES, and the Canadian Surgery Forum. His research interests include knowledge synthesis and translation, colorectal disease epidemiology, surgeon education, endoscopy, and minimally invasive surgery.
