My name is Julia Frebault MD and I am a PGY-5 general surgery resident at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis Minnesota. I am currently in my second of two research years at the University of Minnesota in the Colon and Rectal Surgery Division, where I am completing clinical outcomes research as well as translational research with a focus on the microbiome. I am originally from Minnesota and completed medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin. I intend to pursue a fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery after residency.
