Dr. Ramsey S. Elsayed is a general surgery resident in Southern California and a future vascular surgeon with academic interests in complex aortic disease, vascular trauma, and surgical outcomes research. He completed a cardiovascular surgery research fellowship and earned a Master’s degree in Biostatistics and Epidemiology at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, where he later served as Assistant Professor of Research. His work focuses on improving surgical outcomes, access to vascular care, and trauma systems, and he plans to pursue a career in academic vascular surgery combining complex operative care, research, and surgical education.
