Jacob Neary is a board-certified general surgeon completing his colon and rectal surgery fellowship at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, with an anticipated completion date of July 2026. He received his Bachelor of Science and Master's degrees in human health and disease from Purdue University before earning his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He subsequently completed his general surgery residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. His areas of interest include optimizing surgical efficiency, advancing quality improvement initiatives, improving patient outcomes, and the management of complex colorectal malignancies.
