Eli Mlaver, MD, MSc, is a General Surgery resident at Emory University. An Atlanta native, he earned his BA in Chemistry at Amherst College and both his MD and his Masters of Science in Clinical Research at Emory University. Dr. Mlaver’s research goal is to use innovative, informatics-driven methods to improve patient care and surgical outcomes. He has garnered TL1 funding from the NIH and F32 funding from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and additionally served two years as a Research Fellow for the Georgia Quality Improvement Project. He is currently applying for Endocrine Surgery fellowship, and hopes to impact perioperative protocols across multiple surgical disciplines in his academic career. He would love to show you pictures of his daughters and his dog.
