Lindsay Weil, MD, is a colorectal surgery fellow at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She completed her general surgery training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she developed a strong interest in colorectal oncology and complex anorectal disease. Her research includes work on rare colorectal malignancies and cost-effective strategies in the management of acute hemorrhoidal disease. She plans to pursue a career in academic colorectal surgery with a focus on patient-centered care and surgical education.
