Gregory Petrossian, MD is a PGY2 general surgery resident at Northwell Health - North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He grew up on Long Island and earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology at Boston College. He completed his medical degree at the Albany Medical College and graduated with Distinction in Research. Greg has presented his research at local and national conferences, including a Plenary Session at the Surgical Infection Society’s 41st Annual Meeting. In July he will begin two dedicated research years at the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research. He hopes to incorporate clinical and translational research into his future clinical practice.
