My name is Deirbhile Martin, MD. I am a current PGY-3 General Surgery Resident at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

I am originally from Boston, Massachusetts, born to two first-generation Irish immigrants. I studied Human Evolutionary Biology at Harvard University. I completed a Master of Science degree in Clinical Neuroscience at the University of Galway in Ireland. I then obtained my medical degree at UMass Medical School. There, I developed a passion for surgery, and went on to pursue General Surgery Residency.
