**DR MADANU DAVID PAUL RAJU familiarly known as Dr. M. D. P. Raja, MD (Ayurveda), Proctologist and Chief Consultant, HITAM Ayurvedic Anorectal Institute, Hyderabad, India**, is a renowned specialist in benign colorectal diseases with over 27 years of dedicated clinical, surgical, and academic experience.

Dr. Raja is widely recognized for his expertise in the management of hemorrhoids, anal fistula, fissure-in-ano, and pilonidal sinus, with a strong focus on sphincter-preserving and minimally invasive techniques. He has played a pivotal role in refining and promoting the Kshara Sutra therapy and integrating it with modern surgical innovations, including laser-assisted procedures, to enhance patient outcomes and reduce recurrence rates.

As a passionate academician and mentor, Dr. Raja has trained hundreds of surgeons across India through structured hands-on workshops and national-level training programs.
