Taylor L. Garza, MD is a PGY-4 general surgery resident at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch and her undergraduate degree from Trinity University. She is currently the William R. Jacobsen Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Division of Colorectal Surgery, where her two-year dedicated research commitment focuses on basic science and translational research in tumor microenvironment, colorectal cancer, diverticulitis, and inflammatory bowel disease.
