Ahmed Amine Alaoui, MD, MPH, completed his General Surgery residency at the Université de Montréal, Canada and his Master of Public Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He is currently completing a Colorectal Surgery fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and will pursue advanced endoscopy training next year. Upon completion of his fellowship training, he will return to Montreal to join the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM), where he will focus on colorectal surgery, advanced endoscopy, academic surgery, research, and teaching. His clinical and research interests include inflammatory bowel disease, colorectal cancer, advanced endoscopy, and the gut microbiome.
