My name is Michael Froehlich, MD, a resident at Stony Brook University Hospital who will be pursuing Colorectal Surgery fellowship. I am currently a PGY4 working on completing my residency, as well as partaking in numerous research projects, primarily utilizing a institutional colorectal robotic database we created, as well as the database research leveraging the National Cancer Database (NCDB) and TriNetX. My primary research interest is complicated diverticulitis, IBD, and oncologic outcomes in those treated minimally-invasive techniques.
