My name is Madeline Standbridge MD, MPH I am a PGY2 rural general surgery resident at Marshall University in West Virginia. I am originally from a small town in Northeast Tennessee, Piney Flats. I completed my bachelors degree in Microbiology with a minor in Public Health at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. I then went on to East Tennessee State University to complete my dual MD/MPH. I am currenty interested in pursing a Colorectal fellowship. I have research interests in rural/urban disparities, social drivers of health, addiction medicine and peri/post operative care, and colon cancer.
