Samantha Demoss, MD, MS is currently a fourth year general surgery resident at Rush University Medical Center/John Stroger Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois. She holds her bachelor's degree in Physiology and Neurobiology from the University of Connecticut. She went on to complete her master's degree in Biomedical Sciences and medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School. She aspires to have a career in colorectal surgery and is looking forward to applying to the fellowship match this year.
