Karina Cardenas, MD is a Miami, Florida native. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry from Florida International University, after which she attended St. George’s University School of Medicine. She completed her General Surgery residency at the HCA Florida Westside/Northwest General Surgery Program, where she was a member of the inaugural residency class and contributed to program development and resident education. She is currently a Colon and Rectal Surgery Fellow at AdventHealth Orlando, with clinical interests in minimally invasive techniques and advancing patient-centered perioperative care.
