Dr. Mary Smithson is a colorectal fellow at Cleveland Clinic. She graduated general residency from University of Alabama at Birmingham. She did 2 years of basic science research looking at chemoradiation resistance in rectal cancer. She has a strong interest in hereditary GI cancers and will stay at Cleveland Clinic next year as the Hereditary Fellow.
