Megan Breckheimer, MD

Megan Breckheimer, MD, is a general surgery resident at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in her dedicated research year and a postdoctoral research fellow with the Colorectal Research Unit at Johns Hopkins University. She is also an ACS AEI Surgical Education and Simulation Research Fellow and is pursuing a Master of Education in Health Professions Education. Megan earned her bachelor’s degree from University of Wisconsin - Madison and her medical degree from Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. She currently serves as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy and plans to pursue fellowship training in colorectal surgery after residency.
