Sumil Shah, BS, is a medical student in the MD program at the Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, GA. His current research focuses on benign anorectal conditions, specifically the evaluation of patient satisfaction after using Hesperidin and Diosmin supplements in the treatment of hemorrhoids, working under the mentorship of Dr. Carmen Fong, MD, Co-Director of the Hemorrhoid Centers of America. Sumil is dedicated to exploring clinical outcomes and enhancing patient care through evidence-based research as he pursues his interest in the fields of colorectal surgery and colorectal health.
