I was born and raised in Poland. I came to the US in high school to play soccer and continued on throughout college. After medical school in Poland, I completed general surgery residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. I spent two dedicated colorectal research years at UIC/Cook County and I am currently a clinical colorectal fellow at Weill Cornell/Memorial Sloan Kettering.
