Completed medical school in Mexico, after he completed a Masters in Clinical anatomy at Tulane University School of Medicine to further complete his General Surgery Resideccy at Medstar Baltimore.
He further completed a Minimally Invasive Advanced Colorectal Surgery Fellowship at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, during this time he also participated in basic science research at The University of Chicago in cDNA in Colorectal cancer. Now completing a fellowship in Colorectal surgery at Cook County Hospital Chicago
