My name is Anyelin Almanzar Hirujo, I was born in the Dominican Republic where I attended medical school and obtained my medical degree. After taking my Step exams, I was accepted into a 2 year surgery residency preliminary position at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, followed by 3 years at Medstar Health Baltimore where I finished my surgical training. Next, I was accepted to and initiated a Colorectal Surgery Fellow at
Medstar Washington Hospital Center where I currently train.
