Pavel Lenkov, MD is a General Surgery Resident at Cleveland Clinic Foundation, and an incoming Colorectal Surgery Fellow at Corewell Health in Grand Rapids, MI. He has authored peer-reviewed publications in Clinics in Colon and Rectal Surgery and the Journal of Zoo and Wildlife Medicine, including a landmark paper on minimally invasive hernia repair in Western Lowland Gorillas, a testament to the breadth of his surgical curiosity.
His current research focuses on complications and outcomes following surgery for functional constipation, working alongside faculty at Cleveland Clinic's Digestive Disease & Surgery Institute, one of the most prestigious colorectal programs in the world.
Dr. Lenko has tutored medical students preparing for Step examx, served as a Medical Student Liaison, and mentored the next generation of surgeons throughout his residency.
