SONG Zhangfa PhD, is the Vice President of Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, School of Medicine, Zhejiang University, also a Chief physician of Department of Colon and Rectal Surgery.
In 2010, Dr. SONG Zhangfa received his doctor's degree from University of Ulm, Germany. After that, he completed the advanced studies in Cleveland Clinic in USA and Shizuoka Cancer Center in Japan.
Dr. SONG Zhangfa has mainly engaged in the clinical, scientific research and teaching work of colorectal cancer, including minimally invasive surgery and comprehensive treatment of colorectal tumors. As an early surgeon to carry out robotic and laparoscopic colorectal surgery, he possessed rich surgical experience.
He published papers as the first author or corresponding author in the Journal of Clinical Investigation, Science China Life Science, Cancer Research, Theranostics, Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy, Blood, Aging Cell, Neurology, Disease of Colon&Rectum, etc. He has been responsible for four National Natural Science Foundation projects and two major provincial projects.
