Aimal Khan, MD is an Assistant Professor of Colon and Rectal Surgery in the Section of Surgical Sciences at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, TN. He completed his general surgery residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia. He received his fellowship training in Advanced Robotic GI Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham followed by specialty training in Colon and Rectal Surgery at Baylor University Medical Center Dallas. His research interests include application of novel technologies to improve surgical outcomes, improving the suality of surgical and multidisciplinary cancer care, and Colorectal Surgery outcomes Research with a focus on anastomotic Leaks.
