Dr. Karen Zaghiyan is Associate Professor of Surgery and Program Director for the Colorectal Surgery Residency Program at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles. She then completed medical school at the University of California, San Diego before pursuing her general surgery residency and colon and rectal surgery fellowship at Cedars-Sinai where she continues to practice today. Dr. Dr. Zaghiyan’s clinical and research interests focus on rectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease.
