Yosuke Wakui, MD, is a physician at Hokkaido University Hospital in Japan, with a research focus on colorectal cancer and tumor microenvironment analysis. His work includes evaluating prognostic biomarkers such as the lymphocyte-monocyte ratio (LMR) and conducting RNA-seq-based immunologic studies in metastatic colorectal cancer. He is particularly interested in understanding tumor–immune interactions and identifying clinically meaningful markers that can improve prognostic stratification for patients with unresectable metastatic disease.
