Dr. Boyer, MD is a General Surgery Resident at the University of Rochester, currently on dedicated research time with the Surgical Health Outcomes Research Enterprise (SHORE) lab where she is pursuing her Masters in Clinical Investigation. Her current research focuses on surgical and patient reported outcomes in colorectal cancer, specifically around those with ostomies or with early-onset colorectal cancer. As her research time concludes, she will be returning to clinical residency as a PGY-3 with plans to apply to Colon and Rectal Surgery fellowship in 2028.
