Dr. Ore is a Colorectal surgery fellow at the Mayo Clinic Rochester. She graduated as a general surgeon from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School. She served as the Admninistrative Chief Resident. During her residency she completed a post-doctoral research fellowship at the National Center for Functional Glycomics focusing on translational colorectal cancer research. She also completed her Masters in Public Health with a dual concentration in Public Health Leadership and Clinical Effectiveness at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She is passionate about improving surgical outcomes in underrepresented populations, specifically acess to care and improving surgical outcomes in patients with limited English proficiency. She is the founder and Co-Director of the BIDMC Latinx CRS Clinic, founded in 2023 which aims to serve the Latinx population of Boston and Greater Boston, providing culturally tailored care for patients with limited English proficiency in need of colorectal surgical care. After graduating fellowship at Mayo, Dr. Ore will return to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School to join the Division of Colon & Rectal Surgery.
