Junyong Han, MD, is a third-year resident in the Division of General Surgery at Seoul National University Hospital. His clinical and academic interests include colorectal surgery, rectal cancer treatment, and organ-preserving strategies for patients with early-stage rectal cancer. He will present his work, “Oncologic Outcomes of Chemoradiotherapy Without Total Mesorectal Excision in Patients With Early Rectal Cancer,” which evaluates treatment outcomes in patients managed without radical rectal resection. This study was conducted under the supervision of Professor Seungbum Ryoo.
