My name is Kai Ma. I am currently a Ph.D. Candidate and a Resident Physician at the Department of Anal and Intestinal Diseases, Longhua Hospital, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. My research primarily focuses on the clinical and fundamental aspects of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), such as Crohn's disease 1. I am particularly interested in exploring novel biomarkers for disease diagnosis and activity monitoring.
