Su Tong is a resident physician in standardized training and a Master's candidate in TCM Surgery (Proctology) at Longhua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her clinical and research focus centers on the integrated management of colorectal and anal disorders through evidence-based TCM-Western medicine approaches. She specializes in combining TCM pattern differentiation with modern proctological techniques, with particular interest in perioperative TCM interventions, functional bowel disorders, and adjunctive therapy for inflammatory bowel disease. Practicing within a National TCM Key Specialty department, she engages in clinical work, research, and education related to common and complex proctological conditions. Dr. Su is committed to advancing patient-centered, integrative care and promoting cross-disciplinary dialogue in proctology.
