Dr. Daniela Rebollo Salazar is a colorectal surgery fellow at the University of Miami. She completed her general surgery training at University of Washington, where she developed a strong interest in colorectal disease and surgical oncology. Her clinical practice focuses on patient-centered care with an emphasis on colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease. Dr. Rebollo Salazar’s research interests center on health services utilization, financial toxicity, and disparities in outcomes among patients with colorectal cancer, particularly in underserved and Latino populations. She is committed to advancing equitable access to high-quality surgical care and to translating research into meaningful improvements in patient outcomes.
