Dr. Mallorie Lee Huff is a general surgery resident at the Medical University of South Carolina. She earned her MD from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine and her MPH in Healthcare Management from Emory Rollins School of Public Health. Her academic work has focused on surgical outcomes and healthcare utilization, including projects examining care delivery models and perioperative outcomes in patients with gastrointestinal disease, and has taken an active role in quality improvement throughout her training. She has contributed to research presented at national surgical meetings and continues to be involved in outcomes-based clinical research during residency. Dr. Huff plans to pursue fellowship training in Colon and Rectal surgery on completion of her surgical residency.
