Emily Vu Nghiem, MD is a General Surgery Resident (PGY-2) at Montefiore Medical Center and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She has a clinical interest in colorectal surgery and surgical oncology. Her research focuses on the tumor microenvironment in colorectal cancer, with an emphasis on complement signaling and immunotherapy, including investigation of C3/C3aR as a potential therapeutic target.
