Dr. Li Chen is an attending physician at the Department of Colorectal Surgery, Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine. He graduated from the School of Medicine at Zhejiang University with a specialization in Oncology. He has initiated and participated in multiple domestic and provincial scientific research projects as well as clinical studies. He specializes in minimally invasive surgery and standardized treatment for colorectal tumors, sphincter-preserving surgery for low rectal cancer, transanal endoscopic minimally invasive surgery, minimally invasive surgery and comprehensive treatment for hemorrhoids, and surgical management of complex anal fistulas and perianal abscesses (e.g., LIFT, TROPIS). He is also experienced in the systematic evaluation and surgical treatment of rectal prolapse, surgical management of rectovaginal fistulas via various approaches, and surgeries for presacral tumors. He routinely performs colonoscopy, endoscopic removal of colorectal polyps, and systematic evaluation and comprehensive treatment for chronic constipation.
