Michael Guo is a General Surgery resident at the University of British Columbia who has completed a research fellowship under the Clinician Investigator Program focused on health systems and health policy research. He hopes to lead a career as a surgeon-scientist investigating ways to improve system efficiency and equitable access for surgical services. His research interests include clinical epidemiology, health economics, and healthcare policy.
