Dr. Ban is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio and a Staff Surgeon in the Division of Colorectal Surgery. She has a Bachelor's in Biology from Duke University and attended medical school at the Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. She completed general surgery training at Loyola University Medical Center and a colorectal surgery fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. She obtained a Masters in Clinical Research methods from Loyola University Chicago while a Clinical Scholar in Residence at the American College of Surgeons where she obtained expertise in quality measurement and health services research.
