Hernan A Sanchez Trejo, MD, FACS, FASCRS, is the head of Colorectal Surgery and Chief of Surgery at Doctor’s Hospital of Laredo - UHS. He and his team have built the first standalone division of Colorectal Surgery for a fast growing metropolitan area in south Texas and northeastern Mexico . Dr. Sanchez Trejo has served ASCRS as a member of the International Committee. He is also a corresponding member of the Peruvian General Surgery Society. He has special interests in healthcare economics, healthcare quality and healthcare administration.
