This symposium will address the latest and greatest in complex, hard-to-treat anorectal issues. Our speakers will start with a review of the current evidence for treatment of persistent or recurrent anal fissure. We will then focus on complex anal fistulae with a discussion of the newest surgical and technological developments in this arena. Finally, we will conclude with a discussion and broadcast of the creation of the ASCRS Quality Collaborative focused on anorectal fistula. This is a great symposium for all colorectal surgeons (community and academic alike) to learn about the new things to do and try for these hard-to-treat conditions.
