Kelly M. Tyler, MD, FACS, FASCRS is a Professor of Surgery and the Chair of Surgery at Trinity Health of New England/Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT. She has practiced Colorectal Surgery for nearly 2 decades and with her dedicated team, built the Division of Colorectal Surgery at UMASS Chan Baystate in Springfield, MA prior to taking on the role of Chair. She serves the ASCRS as a member of the Executive Council, a member of the Healthcare Economics Committee, and the ASCRS Advisor to the AMA Relative Value Scale Update Committee (RUC). She has special interests in mentorship and teaching, healthcare economics, legislation, policy, and advocacy in addition to healthcare quality and healthcare administration.
