I am Andric Perez-Ortiz, MD, MPH, a Colorectal Surgery Fellow at The American British Cowdray Medical Center. I graduated with honors from Universidad Panamericana School of Medicine and earned my MPH in Advanced Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Yale University. My training includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and a General Surgery residency, during which I served as Chief Resident at The American British Cowdray Medical Center. I have published over 22 peer-reviewed papers, regularly present at major congresses, and focus my research on young-onset colorectal cancer, colorectal anastomotic leaks, and epidemiological trends of diseases in Latin American countries. I am committed to mentoring residents in colorectal research and encouraging them to pursue fellowship training. I look forward to collaborating at this conference.
