Jianning Zhai (MD & Ph.D), attending surgeon, currently works at Unit III of the Gastrointestinal Cancer Center of Peking University Cancer Hospital. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. In clinical work, he mainly involves the diagnosis, neoadjuvant therapy, immunotherapy, and laparoscopic colorectal surgery of colorectal cancer. In terms of basic research, the main research direction is the molecular mechanism of the tumor immune microenvironment during the development of colorectal cancer and the role of gut microbiota in colorectal cancer. Several research articles on the molecular mechanism of colorectal cancer were published in Gastroenterology, Gut, Oncogene, etc.
